Default Stalling issue

Hi guys new to the forums. I have an 07 ultra classic. Motor is stock. I am having a issue that i am having a hard time tracking down. Going down the road my radio volume will drop, and my speedo drops to 0. Now when this happens and i come to a stop if i do not roll the throttle in neutral or with the clutch in the bike dies. I am also blowing fuses to my taillights. A year ago i had an issue pretty much the same thing except i was blowing my headlight fuse(which sucked because i was doing 70 down an unlit hwy at night). I took it to the HD shop, and $450 later they told me it was the cover on my positive post on my battery was coming into contact with my plastic seat pan. Sounded funny that my plastic seat pan was arcing the post, but i did not have any issues other then my radio would not keep the right time on the digital clock till a few weeks ago when i got pulled over for no tail lights. That's when i checked the fuse and it was blown, and now twice in the last week just going from work to home about 10 miles it dies at every stop sign unless i keep it idled up. Not sure if i have a few problems or if it is just one. Sounds to be electrical, and possibly an idle issue. Have read the threads on the TPC and the idle control, but haven't had an issue while driving down the road with the idle or sputtering. Last year it died going down the road once, but after getting it back from the shop have not had that problem. Any help i would be grateful.

I'd start with replacing the IAC stepper motor.

ok just got back from a 2 hour ride after replacing the fuse and a rear turn signal light. the radio drops out at the same time the speedo does, but if i goose the throttle when it does it everything goes back to normal for a few minutes then i have to do it again. it only died once at a stop sign and didn't do it again. will try the step motor next week. Is that something better to buy from the dealership or online?

I'd buy it from dealer. That may be the stalling issue, might also check the speed sensor as well as that can make your speedo and radio VOX act up.
