Maybe someone out there has experienced this problem and might be able to give me some direction on where to look to correct.
Problem: I was part of an escorted ride, actually lead bike. While on the ride it felt like the bike sounded and performed differently after 30 miles into the ride. I had a loss of power, and one of the exhaust, that is normally loud has quieted down considerably. The bike did not smoke, or even run rough, just appears I have lost some of the torque. I know some HD's have a temperature sensors and will shut off one cylinder, but i do not believe mine has that option. The bike starts and runs fine at idle, and the only problem is when I hit the throttle to accelerate, it takes longer to get up to speed. I know this is not much to go on, but i figured i would ask.

Check the wires to the fuel injectors. There were some problems where with the tywrap on the bundle being too tight causing the injector wires to break (sometimes inside the insulation).
Thanks for the advice, i will check the exhaust and the Injector wires. Thanks Old Hippie, you are probably right in saying i need to have someone with the correct test equipment verify the problem. Thanks again for all the replies.
Thank you for helping me find some if the problems with my Road King, all is not solved but I am getting closer. I did a compression test and found that both cylinders are reading approx 140, good so far. I did notice that one of the plugs in the fronts cylinder was black with heavy soot. After some checking, I noticed the air filter was completely saturated with dirt, bugs and some oil residue. I have yet to check the injectors, but I am working toward checking those as well.
