Gravel on rd corner
They do the same thing around my neck of the woods , they fill the lot holes up with a mix of dirt and gravel.

Around here we have all of these oil field service trucks that go out onto the mud/gravel roads and then when they hit pavement, it seems all manner of crud falls off and clogs up the pavement with dirt. You have to be careful at every intersection.

We have this wonderful stuff in Kansas called Chip and Seal. It's basically tar with fine aggregate sprinkled on top. That $hit is treacherous until it's mashed down. That along with the tar snakes makes some interesting hot weather riding.

, I really cuss those a$$holes when I have to ride my bicycle through that crap, especially in hot weather! That tar and chip gets all over the tires and underneath the frame.

Thios spring has been tough. The long winter has left a ton of sand from the Salt/Sand trucks on the roadways ad it all seems to accumulate in the edges of the corners. I have to make sure I don't cut the corner too hard to keep from sliding out.

Good reminder (for those of us not on trikes yet)! It's very common here too, especially on back country roads where gravel roads and driveways join the paved roads. Every car coming off of the gravel brings some with it and the recent torrential rains we had likewise washed gravel into the roads.
