The seat uses a machine threaded screw. This is a #30 torx. sheet metal screw. I have not worked on my truck. The bike was at the HD shop for 7 weeks. They could have dropped a screw on it and it finally rolled off.
Next time I go to the dealer I will ask it if looks familiar to them.

Thanks guys

It IS a torx headed sheet metal screw.Probably used on the seat or to hold something thin/plastic somewhere.I'd say pull the seat, maybe even the battery and start looking.

We can't leave this mystery hanging. Can you describe the things that are located around the area in the garage that the bike is parked?

Check screws on your windshield, and or around the faring.

Checked what I could on the plastic belt guard near the swing arm. All it tight. Pulled the seat and looked all around the battery and rear fender. Nothing so far.
All is quiet while riding.
