Default Screw ?????

Pulled the bike into the garage and found this screw on the floor right where it was parked. Looked all over and cannot find any sign where it came from.
Checked the service manual but did not see an exact screw used.
It is a #30 torx sheet metal 3/4 inch long just under a 1/4 inch diameter. It is kind of greasy.
Recent work done at shop.New tires, fluids, rear rotor and brake pads. Progressive shocks installed.
Bike 03 EG Standard
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

It's a self-cutting type, by the look of it, the sort of thing that is screwed into a plain drilled hole in a thin metal panel and cuts its own thread. How about your car?

Did you check to make sure your Flux Capacitor is still attached?

It looks like a trim screw of some sort. Have you worked on a car in there lately?

It looks like a sheet metal screw but if that's a Torx socket in the head then If it is a Torx, and I can't tell from the picture, it would be the first one I've ever seen with that type of thread. (Non-machine screw).

A worn Philips could be mistaked for a torx. Esp. if the reading glasses aren't on.

That's the one that goes on the thingamabob, doohickey on the back of the bike.
Should be easy to find the empty hole!

Possibly a replacement screw for a rivet on the belt guard to the swingarm? I've seen those screws used to fasten plastic/resin parts to metal parts.
