Default Anyone know thread size on fork air baffle?

Does anyone know the pitch and thread size on the fork air baffle mounting threads on an 06 SG? Are they 5/16-18? I need to get bolts and want to run a tap through them before mounting the baffle.

I'm about 90% sure they're 1/4 " 20 , if memory serves.
Make sure to run a tap though first ,my paint was thick in the threads.
Might want to go with blue lock-tite also just for safety sake also.
Good luck..

I just installed my baffle on my 07 Ultra (same frame) and it is, indeed 1/4 x 20.....I even checked it out with the threads on the screws that came with the baffle by taking it to a hardware store and threading them into a 1/4 x 20 nut. I still had a heck of a time due to so much paint in the threads. I also chose to take the part number that came with my baffle and order an extra set of a screw and a washer to there would be THREE instead of the two that they provide with the baffle when there are three threaded holes and three holes provided in the baffle that line up perfectly with the three threaded holes. Of course, as luck would have it, I had to order them in. They are chrome plated and my dealer did not have them in stock.

1/4 20 by 1/4" should be fine, lube them with something since the paint is going to make it hard to screw in.

any good hardware store will have them in stainless steel phillips head.
