I would buy the HD suits. The first two times I rode my bike I was caught in the rain/snow and then just the rain. After the 2nd time I went directly to the closest HD store ( I was out of town) and bought a set for me and my passenger. Since that day, nearly 2 years ago, I have NEVER been caught by the rain. I have wanted to try them out and make sure they work, but I think since I bought them, it won't rain on me! It's like buying insurance!
Needless to say, I did look around and due to the protection on the pants for heat, I did choose to go the more expensive (HD) route. But I'm sure there are others out there just as good and you don't have to pay for the emblem on the back! Even though it is reflective.
I had an HD rainsuit and it was a POS. I bought some Frog Toggs and they work pretty well. The pants are too baggy though. And whatever you do, don't let them touch the pipes.
I find it funny that so many people bitch about people asking a question that has been gone over before, but will post senseless bs on every post just to get their post count up! If you don't have helpful information, there is really no need to put your two cents in. Everybody knows that if you run a search on just about any topic it will bring up many posts, but unfortunately you have to wade through 100 posts about using the search function, or post ****** with their +1 bullshit. Seriously, it is an Internet forum, get over yourself
All of our recommendations are the same as the last time someone started a thread asking that question and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before and the time before.
Hopefully you get the idea.
A search show 156 threads for "rain Suit". Do we realyy need another?
So what is worse? Some new guy posts a question that was already asked or people who actually want to read the post have to scroll past your dribble.
Personally if I see a topic that I am not interested in or felt that I already have read similar posts, I do not click on the link. You should do us all a favor and try it sometime.
