From reading previous threads on this subject, this one is supposedly the exact same rainsuit as the HD Hi-Vis but it will save you over $120. It looks like the samething and has high ratings in it's reviews.
yeah, I did. I'm fairly new here, hate to bother you-guess everyone who hangs here has to respond to every post, huh? You spent more time responding than I would have, hell, you wasted several minutes just letting me know 'ain't nobody got time for that'. Appreciate it
Agree...some folks are just jackasses.
You could say "use the search function" for most anything.
With all the rain here this spring and past failed attempts at rain gear Itook the advise of the majority and got the Hi-Vis Harley gear.
Couple of things I learned along the way:
You can get 20% off any hi-dollar clothing at HD brick and mortar if you are a decent haggler.
I did look at the similar non HD version that was posted previously. They do look very similar online, but I read a post somewhere where someone had them side by side and not so.
If you are tall HD does have a tall version as well. That with the great reviews, plus the fact I could actually try the thing on at the dealer, along with the 20% had me sold. More money then I wanted to spend but the quality is there.
Now with me being really prepared, I see a dry year coming.
I find it funny that so many people bitch about people asking a question that has been gone over before, but will post senseless bs on every post just to get their post count up! If you don't have helpful information, there is really no need to put your two cents in. Everybody knows that if you run a search on just about any topic it will bring up many posts, but unfortunately you have to wade through 100 posts about using the search function, or post ****** with their +1 bullshit. Seriously, it is an Internet forum, get over yourself
No issues with this one at all! The pants don't just have a zipper for the lower leg they are sealed with just extra material then close with the zipper I think that is why they don't leak. The entire suits seams are tape sealed as well.

Hi-Vis here and prior to the riding season I pull it out of the bag and try it on. In other words if you wait to put it on in the rain you will be pizzed trying to figure it out.
I have the Hd rain suit, work very well, also have a road toggs, works well also but heat sensitive on exhaust, be careful, also as with any Frog Togg or Road Togg, undo the hood and wear it under your helmet, keeps the rain from running down your back and soaking you...another trick I learned, nothing worse than fighting your rain pants on the side of the road, never want to go over your boots....I now carry one or two plastic shopping bags ( Walmart type) place the plastic bag over your pants and boots, your boot will now slide into your rain pants without to much trouble, plus you don't have to dance around on one leg....
Just some FYI
Oh, after your pants are on, take the bag off, looks silly and will melt...
