Have seen couple of bikes blow the ACR out. It will make lots of racket. Ahead gasket usually doesn't go like that. it will leak over a period of time and is below the exhaust port. If it is a head gasket you will ususally see an oily deposit on the cooling fins where it is leaking out. The wiring to the ACR could have been damaged when it blew out and that would blow the fuse.

A head gasket can blow out all of a sudden as I've had it happen while running about 75 mph on I-10 at Pasagoula, Ms. I had just passed a truck and I had a pop and instant bad running. I put my hand down by the frt exhaust and felt the hot air being pushed out by the piston and knew right away what had happened. By the time I reached Baton Rouge, La. the bike was only able to do about 35mph wot.
Any mods on your bike, or is it stock? Curious why this happened...
Was you bike tuned?
Tks/B
No mods that would cause this. I have a stage 1. I spoke with the shop a bit more today and they will pick the bike up on Tuesday. In talking with a tech, she (yes, a she) seems to think like ke5rbd and that the ACR Solenoid failed, shorted out and caused the ECM fuse to trip. She has seen a couple 103s that this has happened on. I'll know more later this week after they pick up the bike and begin the T/S process.
I heard from the dealer today. It was the ACR that had "worked its way out" of the cylinder. The plug got hot, melted and caused a short. The dealer went to install a new ACR and reported that they couldn't get it to torque down properly. The threads "were wallered" out was the reason.
I'm not sure if the dealer didn't cross thread things trying to put the new ACR in or if the ACR threads were damaged during initial build. I was fully expecting the dealer to tell me that they were going to helicoil it and get it back to me.
Nope, they have ordered a new cylinder head and it'll be mid week next week before the repair is completed.
