I have to agree with Old Hippe. Neither are good choices. I second the notion to venture over to the audio section and read up.

Those db's are ok if you want decent sound on a budget. You'll still need an amp if you want to hear them well at highway speeds. I had them because they were $49 at my local big box store. If you want to be one and done...go different route.

I personally like the Jensen radio, Dennis Kirk has it at a pretty good price right now...... I got it, go to audio section.

Man, you gotta love this forum. You guys are so silly.

Anyway, DO NOT BUY POLK DB651's. They are crap and they will easily bust. I went through 3 sets before I saw the light. They'll sound great, if you're not moving but I promise, you won't be able to hear anything at highway speeds. You will need an amp to hear them but, if you crank up the sound, they will bust on you.

Audio is a very expensive modification, trust me, I finally got it right.

Hit UltraNutz up in the audio section and he'll advise you on a setup. But I'm sure, he's advise the setup that I have in my signature. And trust me, IT ROCKS!!!

I put HD Boom speakers and a Kenwood KDC-BT755HD receiver on my 08 SG and am VERY happy with it for around $350. The satelite radio is great, especially since the reception on the stock radio was crap. Even the guys I ride with noticed a huge difference. I have V&H Monster Rounds exhaust and even at highway speeds, I have no problem hearing it (no need for an amp). If you want to be able to use your handlebar audio controls, you'll need to get an adapter that pugs into the back of the unit.
