Default VH Fuel Pak

I thinking about getting the VH Fuel Pak to help with the heat issue on my '07 SG.
I don't plan on any engine mods just SE pipes and SE or Ness Air Cleaner.
Will this help reduce the heat?
Any draw backs? Like major gas milage drop, Engine hicups, ???

I'm sure that it would be fine for your application, just make sure you get a good tune on it. Your mileage should suffer a little, the factory settings are very lean, causing more heat and better mileage. But if you ever plan on going to a larger displacement, you will have to upgrade to a different system. JMHO Good Luck.

I have been running a FuelPak for several months with two different mufflers (V&H Ovals, SE Street Performance Tourings). The FuelPak does a great job as long as V&H offers a map for your combination. Be sure to check their website to see if your combo is listed in their database. The FuelPak is not "tunable" like the SERT or PCIII, because V&H does not (unfortunately) publish the specs on the device. That's a shame, because it's a great unit.

I have an 07 ultra and I installed the V&h fuelpak with V&H basic slipons and the kuryakyn twin velocity plus air cleaner. It works perfectly. I rode yesterday about 200 miles and I was getting 44 mpg. Another reply above says that if you upgrade to a larger displacement that you won't be able to use the fuelpak, that is untrue so long as V&H makes a map for it. In my case there is one listed for the 103 upgrade. You can get a good price on ebay about 185.

Thanks for the replies
The F Pak looks like like a good solution
What about the spitting and coughing have you guys exprenced any of that since the install?
This is the fist HD I've had that didn't hack and I'd like to keep it that way or did that stop with fuel injection (also my 1st FI bike)?

Installed it today. ran great, went about 40 miles at 45 degrees,, so I cant say what it has done as far as heat.
I'm sure with more fuel, it had to help,
pretty EZ install, real ez to program
I think I'll be happy with it.

most of my noise issues are gone, but like I said I need a HOT day
