I have a 2013 Road King currently running an Arlen Ness Big Sucker, Rinehart 4" slip ons, and a power commander 5. I just bought a decatted header to get it to run cooler and hopefully get more volume out of the pipes. It should arrive early next week. My question is which PC5 map should I use? The one for stock exhaust with slip ons that I'm running now, or the one for true dual exhaust. It runs great as I have it now. Will losing the cat make a huge difference as far as the tuner goes?
When I decatted the head pipe on my '13 RK, i also added a FL-VIED-10 fuel enricher. The bike was otherwise stock and definitely ran cooler. From what I understand, just pulling the cat won't make a significant difference in the tuning.
