I have Infinity Kappa 62.II's, they are available in 2 ohm, which is what the factory ones are.You will have to buy the 6.5" adapter rings, they are available off ebay for less than $20.00. Anything Harley specific is marked up an outragious amount.

My friend has hog tunes in his road glide and I'm not too impressed. Will be going with different speakers when I upgrade

I think an amp is a must, but that is just me, most 6.5's or such need more clean power to really push them "without issues" than what a stock head unit is going to push.

Polk's 6.5's are what I have installed & very very pleased with them only issue is that I run an amp with them.

I put J&M on my 2013 UC and its way better than stock.
Just the 4 speakers is all I did.
Very happy with the set up.

I'd add my vote for the Biketronics 7.1's. While I upgraded my whole system, these speakers are very well made, fit great, and have a lifetime warranty. Biketronics support is great as well.

The Hogg tunes isn't much of an improvement over stock. Biketronics and J&M are better but if you really want better sound at volume I think you need to consider an amp. Just my 2 cents.

Agree with both budget(?) and Audio section comments! Biketronics if you have the $$, Infinity Kappas 62.11 if not.

This is the correct answer. plug and play, don't need an amp, will handle an amp if added later and sound better than the "bike" specific speakers for less $s.

Anything is better than stock. Hog tunes are an ok choice, but if you want to melt your face I would go with a rockfordfogate amp and speakers. I have two amps, one in front for the fairing and lowers and one in the back for the tour pods and bags. It is loud!
