I have a 2014 Limited with just over 600 miles on it and when you down shift to slow down or leave off of the throttle to slow down, the transmission starts to jerk or lurch. does anyone else notice this? The only change to the bike is I added Rush slip on mufflers.
I don't know how a transmission could jerk or lurch but when I got my 96" bike, low RPM would cause the thing to buck and carry on something terrible. I changed the tune to improve my condition.

Warranty Ask your dealer.
Not trying to be rude.... but a tech, in person, would have a better chance of giving you the right answer. From your description, it sounds like your primary chain bouncing.

Thanks!! You could be at 55 mph and down ship into 4th gear to slow down and it will jerk like if you were pulling out from a dead stop in 2nd gear. and you could just leave off of the throttle and it will do the same thing.

as above, you have a new bike and a 2 year warranty that comes with it.
driveline shocking can be related to incorrect gear choice, primary chain mis-tensioned, clutch adjustment or a failure of the clutch or primary chain.
Not long ago I witnessed someone on a new HD coming into town and he was downshifting incorrectly and making the rear tire "bark" as he slowed down.. I would say that's a major lunge and to the untrained rider may seem like a defect.
Not saying this is what you are doing but if you take it into the dealer a shop guy will ride it and tell if there is anything wrong other than the way you ride.
I've noticed the same thing with mine. This is the first bike I've had a bike with the automactic tensioner......I think it's just the difference in the amount of tension that I kept on my 04 bike compared to the auto adjuster.
