Default 2014 Roadking

After many years of riding a deuce I purchased a new Roadking, tan and brown paint, screaming eagle slip ons with fish tails,Brown touring seat with pillion, chrome forks, manual lowering shocks, beach bars, the bike is a real eye catcher, the manual shocks work well, does anyone else have a problem when you let off the throttle the bike kind of leeches forward a bit,I don't think its me ,maybe I'm just not used to the 6 speed trans, the bike also puts out alot of heat It's very noticeable, anybody else experienced, thank you.

TBW is a bit different that a regular cable throttle. Only rode one for a short test ride and it was definitely something to get used to.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new ride. It's the cat that is making it so hot just get aftermarket head pipes or decat the stock ones, you can check here on the forum about how to decat your head pipes, hope to see you around sometime, I'm in Elgin by Randall and Hopps.

Of course it puts out a lot of heat. It's all choked up with smog crap. Do at least a stage one,and get the motor breathing, get rid of the cat,and you won't believe the difference. Gutless pigs from the factory. But they wake right up with a little mod here and there.

I have a 12 RK, yes the throttle is way different. Are you saying it pics up speed when you roll off or the front dips? I notice a front dip, yes that is just the heavy front end reacting to the energy of now slowing down
