For a 2007 Road King Classic, will the Mustang Classic Solo seat with removable driver back rest accept the Mustang pasenger pillon seat when the driver back rest is removed? or does the back rest bracket interfere with the pasenger seat? Do you folks with back rests really use them much? I have a utopia on my other bike (goldwing) and I do not use it all that much. Trying to decide between Corbin or Mustang is sure a tough decision.

The passenger seat can be purchased seperatly and has no interference to the solo, I purchased the solo seat onlyw/ removable/adjustable back rest and love it, the cool things is if you decide you dont want to use it slide it out and put it in your bags, another thing it folds all the way down over the seat, so on those hot summer days, you do not burn your a$$, I have 5 herniated discs and use it, best thing I have purchased other than the bike
I have exactly the combo you are referring to: the Mustang solo with backrest and the standard wide passenger pillon. The pillon will slip onto the studs of the Mustang solo (backrest model) just like the standard model and the forward lip will cover up the slot where the backrest inserts into the front seat. I started out with the standard solo with the standard passenger pillon, then I bought the solo with backrest and my standard pillon fits fine. But of course, with this combo you can't use the rider backrest and passenger pillon at the same time, which was fine for my application.
I like the smaller rear seat Mustang 75462, does not ride over rear of solo seat. Cost about 100.00 on ebay with 10 to 15 bucks for shipping.
I ride solo with back rest and it sweet, pain free riding. Brought bike with screamin eagle with back rest.
Mustang seat with back rest is equal to hogtunesvs HD speakers? Get the seat with backrest and add options later?
I have an '07 SG and have been looking at this seat. Does anyone know if it is narrower in the front than the stock HD seat? I'm looking for something that isn't as wide so my feet are a little closer to the ground.
The Mustang seat you need for the FLHX is the Road King seat. EG seats won't fit due to the extended dash panel. It is not narrower on the nose than a stock Road King seat. At least mine isn't. I've had it for two years, they might have changed it since then.
