Replaced my stock 09 RK headlight with the TL Phase 7. Very satisfied. As others have already suggested, frenched trim ring is almost a must for the Phase 7.
OK I've heard this enough I'm stopping by the dealership on the way home to grab one.
I had to ride 75 miles of turnpike Sunday night and I don't know what it is but I don't think people teach anyone to turn their ****ing brights off anymore oncoming traffic bright lights on most of them, passing traffic going the same way bright lights in the rear view mirrors when I got to pull back in. I usually don't really have any issues but It's getting harder to see at night as I get older now.
No auxiliary lamps on my glide and not putting them on, that's why I went with the truck-lite the beam width appears to be excellent. The JW/HD daymaker looks cool but I felt it was a little too narrow when I test rode a friends bike and turned the aux lamps off.
I definitely need to get some running lights for mine. My phase7 has a patten similar to airplane wings, so when you go around a corner the light dips in the direction you are turning. Others have mentioned a blind spot as well. Most of my riding is high way, so it hasn't been that big of a deal yet. Camping this weekend though so I'm hoping it's not "that bad".

You may want to consider changing the stock front turn signals to Dynamic Ringz. They are white until you turn, then they are yellow. Really increase the street glide visibility in day light. You won't need an equalizer if you only change the front.
I don't have an issue with the airplane wing dip. It is easy enough to compensate for.
My bike is bright chromium yellow with pearl top coat, it's probably the first bike I ever owned where I have had people go out of there way to tell me they had no problem seeing me a mile away.
Does the truck lite plug right in???
It appears to only have a single 3 prong plug for both high and low beam. My flhx has a separate plug for the high and another for the low.
Am I missing something??? I really want one to go with my Dynamic turn signals.
