Had the 5k service last week, every thing seemed to be ok. Went for a ride and by
the time I got home the clutch lever quit returning back to normal. When you pull in
the handle and let the clutch out it feels normal but after you let go of the lever it just stays there it does not return feels reel loose. any Ideas? Thanks
Saint
While I'm not sure yet how the cable is attached, it sounds like it came off the cable stay at the clutch end. It is obviously still attached to the clutch, but there is also a stay bracket that should hold the end of the cable sleeve in place.
I don't have a clue as to how it is fixed, but I must say this... I notice it on my 07 EGClassic after 500 miles. Would be interested to see what others have to say.
