Like others have said the bike is for riding not worrying about when its parked--all we can do to protect the bikes is follow reasonable safeguards--if a thief really wants it not too much can be done--my only complaint is that I bought a new bike 4yrs after retiring so just not enuf cash around for the acces that would dress it up some--just adding some better lights is my goal

Some of you guys are right and I appreciate the words. After posting this, I did a nice long ride through the beautiful NC back roads. I feel so much better. Regardless, tomorrow morning, I still will not ride and leave my bike uptown Charlotte. Despite the modernization of this city, there's still an element who prays off the working class. Nope, I'll keep her in my garage until I get home and able to steal a ride until night fall.

There's a good classified section here, if you want to end your worry.... but you may have to discount for the missing bolt.
The two old guys were not strong enough to steal the whole bike at one time. So, they were planing to take one part off of it every time you park it at Costco.
