I just upgraded my stereo on my Street Glide and am now running into a problem ... I upgraded my head unit to an aftermarket kenwood and added a 400watt Rockford Fosgate to run (2) 6.5s and (2)6x9s ...
After taking the bike off the battery tender and ride my bike for about an hour and turn off my bike I dont have enough power to turn the bike back over. I think it may be a bad battery (its 5 years old), but has anyone ever ran into this?
Also, does anyone have any suggestions? I was probably going to get the cycle gear battery that comes with the lifetime warranty...

most of us use the Big Krank battery- about $100.
I bought mine thru amazon- batterymart.
running a bad battery will strain your charging system and a $100 problem could become a $600 problem if the extra load of the duff battery takes out your regulator and stator.
and..a tender will maintain a "charged" battery...a battery charger will "charge" a battery which is discharged.
I have replaced mine with the HD battery.... I've had good luck with them. Not so sure on other brands, but will check here when it's time to replace this one!
Most of the battery brands that fit your bike come from the same factory and five years is time for a new one.
That said, your radio may have had nothing to do with your problem.
It could actually be a dirty or weak connection at the terminal caused during your installation.
Try cleaning the contact surfaces at the battery terminal real well.
