Default LRS does it again

just wanted to give props to James and his crew at LRS. Over the past 5 years I've probably been through 8 different shields from LRS mainly due to me scratching them over time taking off and on. For those of you who know me in the audio forum you know what I'm referring to....

Anyways, got my new shield in today. Ultra Elite Poly Carbonate model this go round with a twist; Subtle custom etching. Now I just hope that someone that I might have given bad advice to in the audio forum doesn't see me somewhere and key my bike!

Great job guys!

Subtle....lol. That came out GREAT!!!

Would look even better with some accent LED's inside your fairing lighting up the etch work at night!

If you haven't seen it before....the hidden LED's illuminate the etching and top edge of the shield the color of the LED's. it's a sharp look....and cheap too!

Great job and nice touch! You won't see another one like yours.

Looks good, just be VERY careful and GENTLE when cleaning the windshield etching. It will mark up easily if you press, say with the edge of your fingernail through a wiping cloth or anything other than wiping in a flat and smooth manner. The etchings will be a little less prominent over time but still look good, just go easy on cleaning over it. The etchings are very shallow so be extra careful.

On one of mine, I had some small marks and visible streaks or clear marks on some of my etching and it became more noticeable after repeated cleanings. I changed to an inch lower shield after that and got the same etching but took WAY gentler care with this one and it's holding up far better. Just wanted to mention to you so yours will look great for a long time.
