Default rain pants
tried a pair of frogs this weekend and they are melted all over my pipes. does the hd do the same or are they a lot better

I had no issues with the HD rain gear melting, didn't wear as long as I would have liked though. It's a year old and leaks now.

No problem with my or the wifes HD high vis suits. No leaks and no melt on the pipes. A bit pricey but good stuff.

I wear a TourMaster rain suit...very happy with it! The 'frog' crap looks cheap and like it wouldn't last very long. The HD rain gear looks like nice stuff, too.

Had my frogs for 8 years...worn from US thru Central America...never an issue...and have never leaked.

Tourmaster a bit on the extensive side but buy once, take care and enjoy the ride.

I use nelson Riggs rain gear and it does not melt. They also have a built in heat shield as does the HD brand.

About the only clothing worth buying at HD is the Hi Viz rain gear. Mine has weathered many storms.
