I use on of the mid-range HD rain suits. So far not a problem with any leaks and no melting. I use almost daily on the ride home in the lovely Florida daily thunderstorms. Quite nice and I stay dry. All it took was a few trips home in the rain and I was ready to buy the rainsuit. HD seems to make a decent rainsuit but still seems a touch over-priced imo.

Frogg Toggs have heat resistant patch kits to fix that. My HD pants were really expensive + leak in the crotch. My buddies new HD pants same thing. I wear the HD jacket + Frogg Togg pants with the rpr patch.

I put these on my frogg toggs before I ever wore them, never a problem with melting. I did both legs since I have true duals.
