i bought the set up a couple months ago. easy install. i used an extra plug from my battery tender to supply the power. i am going to d.c. in may for rolling thunder. that will be the first test. i hooked it up to a cd player in the house and thought it sounded like crap. i didn't read any of the old posts on the chatterbox. if i did i would have gone with j&m instead.
