I have a feeling this ac is louder than most, probably becouse it doesn't have an outer cover. This filter breaths through the outer face also where your ventilater has the solid cover that maybe helps kill some of the noise. It doesn't bother me under acceleration it's the 75 mph steady cruise noise I don't like. I run Cfr pipes and a loud stereo so I'm no stranger to noise... Hopefully I just get more used to it.
