Default PIAA LED driving lights

I am considering adding a pair of PIAA LED driving/auxiliary lights to my 2014 Ultra. I am thinking of mounting them low on the crashbar to the engine side of the lower fairings so that when viewed they will be visible on either side of the front tire. I want them mainly to supplement my headlight and the auxiliary lights during daylight riding. They are expensive, so before forking over I wanted to see if anybody else has installed them and their thoughts!
I posted this originally in the Rushmore section only because I didn't know how to post in both sections , no offence to anybody !!
Thanks
Jerry

the higher, the better seen

leds more often have a narrow beam- so you may be seen by distant traffic, but not close traffic ( I have posted on my experiences observing bikes with leds, and seeing traffic pull out in front of them)

at night, lights mounted low and behind the wheel can give reflections that make you feel like the acid is coming on again...a kalidescope effect

you may get a better effect by upgrading your spots, the car 1000' away is not a hazard, the one 100' away is.

what gives the Rider the best lighting down the road, may not give the Bike the best visibility

I have seen a 2013 Road Glide with Several pairs of Rigid brand led's mounted on his bike.
The Passing lamps have been changed out for what appears to be the dually lights.
The headlights have had some custom mods done to them, that thyey have the Rigid dually (not 100% on the model of lights) but, they are Rigid brand.
This rider also has a pair of what appears to be the branded SRM on either side of the fairing and again this guy added the duallies to the top of his crash bars.
I have no vested interest in Rigid Ind. and thought I would share some observations .
Will try and post up a poor phone pic for intersted parties, but will give you an idea.
The guy has several Iron Butt rides under his belt too...
