Got a question about part # 69200042A. Does anyone know if this completely does away with the factory wires that powers the tour pack? I added a tour pack to my bike and want to hook the lights up. I'm wondering if this harness will work to power the lights since I don't think my bike has the pig tail that would usually go to the tour pack. The fact that it adds blinkers is an additional benefit.
Not sure what your set-up is as it sounds like it's not factory. However, click on the link and go to the pdf installation file for the part # you supplied and see if it looks anything like yours.
I dont know about the part no you listed, I tried several time at the parts counter and couldn't get a yes or no from different parts guys how to rig the pac. I had already installed Custom Dynamics run brake module for the rear fender so I bought their tour pac kit which plugs into the existing plugs in the pac, seems like I needed to run a power and ground is all. since I bought all their leds for the pac my friends said they couldnt tell when I brake from all the lights being so bright, all they said they could see change was the just the break light so I installed their strobe flasher as well and it just plugs in under the seat where the plug goes the rear fender
Thanks for that link. It appears it will do exactly what I'm looking for. I also found an old thread here with pics and it seems to confirm it as well. My set-up is factory, just not for my bike.
