on full compression, the fender almost touches the bottom tree, sometimes it does touch, my guess is that's why you don't see any fork pouches on touring bikes.
Makes perfect sense... no wonder i couldn't get it
Yes i seen that too ... Helps with beard lift i hear , just didn't want to mess around with the brake lines as it mounts to bottom of tree's
they call it a fork deflector i believe.. i did add fangs and they helped out huge but i am trying to keep the beard down now
Maybe you could develop a market and start selling beard nets.
go buy a tool roll, put a complete set of tools in it and put it in the saddle bag, its the best way. I went online and looked at all the different tool kits for Harleys, made a list of items and put it together myself for a lot less than buying an already done kit. a little hint, get about 4 feet of clear tubing to act as a syphon for those that cannot read a gas gauge. ive used it several times on big rides now!!! not for me, for OTHER people that have run out of gas
Hairspray on a beard? I hope you don't smoke, then you won't have to worry about it anymore.
The halfmoon, cowbell, triple T wind deflector that mounts under the fairing has a curve to to it so the rushing air is pushed down and onto the motor, so it helps getting air to the engine and blocking the dirty air coming up.
Tool pouch on front fender, I didn't do that because I saw the result. This weekend on a charity ride I saw a person with electra glide that put a tool bag strapped on the back to the tail light bar, it sits below the tail light bar so if you license plate is mounted high it won't block it there, then he stuck some industrial velcro to the fender and bag to keep it from bouncing around.
He put in the the harley tool kit and rain gear. His thinking if it starts to rain he doesn't want to open up the tour pak or saddle bags and get all that stuff wet, this way he only has to open the tool bag on the back.
I haven't done this yet so I don't have a picture.

I bought the chrome Kuryakyn deflector and it bolted on without touching brake lines IIRC. I don't have much of a beard but it does a good job keeping the air coming over the front of the tank.
