Anyone using a leather fork/bag slash too pouch on their Touring bike with Front Fairing ?
Reason I ask, had been looking at wind deflector to eliminate beard lift and figured this Fork Bag would provide the same deflection and be good for tools as well
We can make pretty much any size or type of bag that you may need..If you dont see exactly what you are looking for give us a call. The bags that we make are real leather, unlike some of the other maker's out there.. http://shop.captain-itch.com/Bags_c34.htm
on full compression, the fender almost touches the bottom tree, sometimes it does touch, my guess is that's why you don't see any fork pouches on touring bikes.

Yup! You put anything between fender and bottom tree and you will have nice dint in the top of your fender. Don't ask me how I know. I have the dent to prove it.
I checked this idea with the same result, no extra room there. However I recently attached my Carthartt tool roll bag to my bars at the clamp and that worked pretty well. Might work for your or the Captain could make a bag to go there. I don't want a bag on my windshield.
Is there room on front of the frame above the oil cooler? For the wind, I bought one of the half moon shape deflectors that bolt to the bottom fork clamp and that might help you.

I feel your pain every-time I see the dent or my wise-a$$ buddy points it out to me and anyone else in his vicinity. I didn't have much more than 10 miles on my 09 EG Ultra either.
