Default Ceramic coating

Anyone have any experience with ceramic coating on their exhaust to help with the heat coming off the exhaust?

I have been running Rush ceramic coated inside and out true duals for 4 years.

The answer to your question then is Yes.

I think the ceramic helps, and it definitely keeps the pipe looking new.

I just had a Fuel-Moto X Ceramic coated pipe installed on my bike. Best bang for the buck imo.

'Had PolyDyn Coatings Titanium/Ceramic applied to the V&H PowerDuals on the '09. While I did not do any before & after testing with a heat gun, the perceived heat is much less now. I would do it again.

How about using Jet Hot? Seems to be much cheaper to coat the head pipe I have now.

I have a set of Fulsacc ceramic 2:1:2 headers on the bike now and i've also sent a 2:1 header to Jet Hot and had them do ceramic on them.
My opinion, its really hard for me to saw that I saw a noticeable difference in heat. it's kinda like a fluorescent light bulb saving electricity, you know it's working but you don't really see it.

Had local coater powder my entire 09 FLHX stock header and Rinehart pipes (to match) for $160. It did make a difference w/heat and looked great (went fm chrome to black). I've since swapped exhaust, but would do it again, if I ever get another bike w/chrome exhaust.

If your bike still has the CAT...might not see as much of a difference...

I had the Drago/Rush exhaust on my Heritage, that the header was ceramic coated inside and out. Huge difference in minimizing the exhaust heat.
