Engine cutting out at high RPM
Was riding today and it is the 2nd time the bike has done this to me. Didn't think much about it when it did it to me before. While hard accelerating, getting out in traffic, the engine cuts out at high RPM. Its not the rev limiter and it does not stall. Its almost like the bike cuts back to idle. When you let totally off the throttle it comes back to life. The bike have the Power Commander 5 from Fuel Moto, V&H twin slash slip ons, Gutted head pipe, and Stage 1 air cleaner. Don't know what's going on but was not good that the bike cut out like that while I was trying to merge in heavy traffic rolling 70mph

I actually have a tach but was not looking at it because I didn't want to be smashed by speeding soccer moms by looking at it. I will have to get on a secluded road and watch the tach and see if that's it. I didn't think so because I had to let off the throttle 100% for it to come back. I would think if it was the rev limiter that it would come back just partly backing off the throttle.
