Your mods aint worth nuthin'........

The mods you do are worth something to the right buyer. If you have been fortunate , like I have, to sell your bike to someone who likes what you've done to it, it will help sell your bike over a stock one. You will never get back every penny but you know that going in. It also saves the new owner of having to go out and get a lot of the stuff that you've already done. The mods I did to my Vrod and Fat Bob are why both my bikes sold within a week of being advertised. Of course being clean with reasonable mileage helps also.

Not always true about mods not increasing value. I bought my 06 fxst for 10.5k used in 06 with 3k miles. Bone stock except for radius pipes. 13k on it now (I'm on the heritage much more) and about 7k in mods and I have a standing offer of 15k. Not interested in selling.
