Default Bars complete?

I'm doing the conversion on a Street Glide Police. I am in touch with a guy on this site who is selling complete bars, switches wiring etc from a Street Glide. Will all of that stuff be used on the Road Glide?

Thanks in advance!

The bars will work, not sure what wires you are referring to, but some of the wiring is specific to certain years. Providing years are comparable, and if you are referring to the fairing interconnect wire harness, it will need modified to work (wire will need extended for speedo, tach and indicator lights) if it is the handle bar wires they will work. Not sure what switches you are referring to. If you are talking about handle bar switches they will work.

Hope that helps.

You have to trim the cap where I put the red line so the fairing brackets can mount to the crash bar.

So I just started my Road Glide Conversion. I'm going about it slightly different way. My 2012 Ultra limited got totaled on 10 November. Hit a deer. So now I'm looking at a 15 RG Special. Now its time for a new adventure

Hope you came out of the accident ok. Things can be replaced, and the good thing is you are here to tell your story and to go forward with your next adventure. Good luck with the purchase

Default Police conversion

Hey gang! As stated earlier I'm doing a 2011 Police Ultra to Road Glide. The parts lists that are on this thread are priceless, thanks!

Can someone help me understand the additional parts required for converting a police. I'm assuming it's wire harnes and bar switches. Can I have cruise control by just adding the correct harness, or is there a computer issue? I've seen postings on another thread that talks about a company that is dedicated to getting cruise on Police bikes.
