I also have a '14 RK. Owned a Softail and several Dynas prior to that.
The new 103 HO is a strong motor and I don't feel that any mods are needed IMO. It handles flawlessly running around town or on the slab.
Wow, many more responses than I expected. I rode out of the Valley Of The Sun this morning and met up with about 20 other bikes. Amazingly 4 of them were 2014 HD Touring bikes so I got a chance at a couple gas stops and lunch to check them out and ask some questions. Even got to help pick the RK up. Long story but found the crash guards that protect the hard bags really do their job at least in a soft lay down.
Not a scratch on the bag. Only a small nick on the guard. Temp was 108 by the time I got back home around 4 PM. But it's a dry heat, my A$$.

Just Kidding. This one represents my 3rd. I bought a new one in 2000. Bought a used 2003 in 2004 and now this one. NOTE: I had a 2005 Ultra, 2008 Ultra and a 2011 Ultra Limited most recently. Guess what, I'm back with the KING!!!
