Take surface temps of the front rocker with it on and off on the same day, same stretch of road?
See, that's not why I bought it. It may very well offer benefits I don't know of, or never thought of. Cooler engine temps could easily be an unexpected benefit. But since I don't have a device that can measure any temps anywhere, I will just have to go with the hopes its doing something. As mentioned, its chrome and its staying. I hoped it might have had an impact on the slight buffeting that seemed to appear with the lower fairings, but it did not. If it helps cool the engine down, that would be awesome as well! But I will probably never know.
I've installed the chrome fork baffle on my 2011 Road Glide CVO 6 months ago. I've notice a slight difference for the better, depending which direction the wind is blowing from. The only negative is it's another piece of chrome to clean and polish.

Same and I added the side of the fork wind deflectors also on the 2012 FLHTC. No more yelling to talk and wind is deflected well. Worth the money.....for me anyway.
