Default 10 weeks no CFRs
Got on back order list over 10 weeks ago at Direct Cycle parts and still no pipes , ordered chrome standard tip. Anyone having luck getting these

Didn't realize there was a backlog as bad as this until now. I ordered mine 5 weeks ago from the dealership the day I bought the bike. Might change to something else now.

Last called a couple weeks ago and was told more chrome delays haven't seen any shipments in 3 weeks

I certainly hope they resolve all their chrome issues before they ship you one.

Call Lindsay at Iron Aces. I was on a waiting list at direct cycle parts in the spring, she had 5 sets on order. I ended up waiting a week after talking with her. I can tell you they are worth waiting for.

Iron Aces appear to be the place to go for CFR's. Lindsey is great to deal with..wait is 2-3 weeks..

I got on the wait list at Iron Aces back in the end of May/Beginning of June. I'm finally getting the mufflers on Tuesday! Lindsay called me a few times with updates on the expected wait time and to be sure I still wanted the mufflers. She is very good at communication and keeping the wait list up to date so you will get the mufflers as fast as possible. She also has CFRs on her own bike and said that I will love the sound.

The wait time didn't bother me since the Bassanis I have provide a nice sound. However, this is the reason why I like to order parts over the winter!

I bought a new ultra limited yesterday and grabbed the last set of the knockoff cfr's they sell. Hopefully they perform well since I've heard both good and bad things about them. Figured for $399 I'd try them out.

Knock off CFR's sound great. My ears couldnt tell the difference between real and fake. I ran CFR's for the last 12 months but I had to take them off yesterday. My ears just couldnt take it anymore. I had to wear earplugs to keep my sainity and if I wore a 3/4 or full face helmet....forget about it. The muffler drone resonating through my head was too much. They sound great for about the first 15 min of riding though.

Try HogPro, I got mine from him and there was no waiting. Phat Performance had a 6 week back log and was to busy trying to sell me something else.
