Default Advice on fuel management

I have a 2013 RK with 255 cams already installed but still the stock A/C and exhaust. I am looking into getting the Arlen Ness stage 2 A/C and CFR slip ons. Should I just bring the bike to the stealer and have them remap it or invest in a power commander. When it comes to the fuel management I'm not really up to speed on what the best method would be. I have been reading around the forum reading up on some set ups. Any help and advice is appreciated.

I read up on them, bought the PC I could afford then went on DynaJet website and tried a few free map downloads that gave me what I needed. It took a few months of trying a few maps then stayed with one. You don't want it running too lean or too rich and you want decent power thru all the throttle curves. Downloading a map to the PC is easy via a laptop and usb cable. Intimidating at first but if I can figure it out anyone could.

If you take it to a dealer to install a tuner all they are going to do is download a canned map into the bike with what ever tuner you buy and give it back to you unless you pay for dyno time. So you might as well buy the tuner yourself, install the canned map, and do some auto tuning. Or all the above and then pay a respected dyno guy to dyno tune the bike.

With the set up your have, I would choose the Power Vision. That is what I am running on my bikes currently. I have used the Power Commander V, the TTS, the SERT, the SESPT, and find the Power Vision significantly easier to use and just as/or more effective.

Thanks for the input fellas. I'm looking forward to getting the upgrades done, hopefully in the near future.

While a flash tuner and proper dyno tune is the only way get "your" bike properly tuned there are pretty good maps available for stage 1 (CFRs are the wild card) and 255s out there for all the good tuners. I would not recommend a PCV on any o2 bike. A flash tuner isn't much more and will retain closed loop operation.
