What was the problem with the fuel filter assembly?

The plastic tab that holds the metal C clip wasn't engaging, so I put a zip tie on to hold it in place.

I'm going to take it back apart this evening when I get home from work.

Are the parts in the tank the same as the '14s? I don't have an '08 manual, but I do have all 3 manuals for my '14.

Had the same problem with My 08UC. Fuel filter shell was split, and I had it replaced. Change it with a new one if the tab won't engage properly. It will reduce fuel pressure resulting in NO Power.

Put a new fuel filter housing on last night....

Works perfect!

I don't think the old one was cracked... maybe warped a bit, didn't seem to fit as good as the new one.
