I ride a 2007 RoadKing Classic and I just installed the crome fork air dam. works good. not nearly as much up-draft as before. I also smoke while on the road, helps alot.

I've got wind deflectors on the Fairing and the Chrome Front Fork Air Baffle mentioned earlier. Works for me

I have been getting a lot of buffeting around my head on my Road Glide. Today I road up to Orlando (200 miles) to pick up the ACC Carbon Fibre dot Helmet. It is small, comfortable and light. On the way back I was amazed at the difference. I don't have that big mushroom on my head any longer and the buffeting is greatly reduced. Several years ago I had an Ultra Tour Glide. (same idea as the RG). Anyway, I purchased it with lowers and do not recall having any buffeting. I plan on putting the lowers on my current RG and I think that will improve my ride.

Last year for the factory installed baffle was 2000, and they sold the chrome one to replace the stock black one.

Now they sell the chrome one because it isjust needed. (got to love marketing)

just a quick thought... will the baffle under the fork aid in cooling the engine by forcing more airflow over the number one cylinder?

Actually Harley's excuse for removingthem was they took air away from the engine, by forcing it to go down instead of straight through.
But I have one on the 06 ultra and have no excessive heat problems

Remove wind? easy sell bike, buy car, roll up windows. Or buy a good full face helmet, Wind is a reality of riding motorcycles

I rode my buddies ultra with the tall windshield and I had the same problem, put a nine inch windshield on my street glide, I dont have the same problem. Might have to do with the height of the winsheild? Just a suggestion
