Since I have the nacelle off and I'm looking at the forks I told my wife I might as well chrome the front end. I'm actually getting a free stock front end and I will have it chromed and I will be given a free set of cowbells still in the package. So it's only $135 morethat I didn't plan for. I put on my sad face and the wife said go ahead. ManI wish I would have thrown in the brake calipers and polished rotors in that price. Oh well take what you can.
Yeah...I agree with Brian. I just TELL my wife what I'm going tobuy forthe bike...............................And then I wake up from my dream. Actually, I must admit that I have snuck a few things onto the bike over the years. Stuff I know that she won't notice. I suspect she's done the same thing with me as it relates to her 'stuff.'
My wife is always asking me at the dealer, "don't you need...". I love her, she is the best. She made my bike happen for me. Always said I would have a Harley by the age 35. Had my bike a year now and will be 35 in June. Don't know how a lump like me ever got so lucky.
