This is the first I've heard of the Fullsac Sportpipe. That seems like a pretty good deal. Anyone have one? Do you like it?

That's what I run on my RK, with stock mufflers and SE Heavy Breather intake. Great setup. Heat dropped way dawn, sound is good with stock mufflers. Too loud for me with V&H Ovals.
I'm running a Fullsac. I got a great deal on it from a guy on the forum here. He put a duel system on. I love it, got rid of a lot of heat and she runs good. I saved my stock header just in case the gov. gets a bug in it's but about the cat. If I didn't get the deal on the Fullsac I would have went Fuel Moto.

Thanks, I also don't like loud pipes and would probably stick with the stock mufflers.

I assume the stock heat shields fit.

I like my street cannons with the headers, they are 50 state mufflers. It's not to loud and sounds like a bike, not a lawn mower. The heat shields take a little fooling with but they fit on well and look stock.

Did the sound of your street cannons change much with the header swap? I'm running stock catted header with street cannons & love the sound. Old bike had monster ovals which I liked but the cannons sound better IMO. I've read guys saying sound changes plus gets a lot louder on cannons with aftermarket header. When I buy I'll go with fuel Moto for header & tuner. They did my last engine build, have earned my future biz.
You can get it all out with a spade bit and wire brush on a drill extension. Anyone who says you can't has never tried it.
Not to argue...but how would you KNOW you got all of it if you can't get in there to see? Yes, I've not done it that way.
I have gutted 3 of them by cutting them open and welding them back. And I'm here to tell you they NEVER just ease out of there.
Just sayin.

Reason: typo
Been there, Even if you don't buy a used pipe and cut cat out of stock pipe its four hours to cut old cat out and reweld not hard but time consuming and even with a tune will never run as good as real head pipe that chamber is a problem those that say different just have not tried both. IT will run it will be cooler, will be a little louder but you Will loose power even with a tune again chamber is the problem.
4 hours? Maybe in a union shop. I've done three and max was 1 hour start to finish.
I like my de-cat stock header pipe and I had no problem tuning it with the H-D Super Tuner. It's not as sexy as the x-pipe but it will do till I get the cash for something better.
