starter clicking.....
........and make sure that the connections at the battery are clean & tight. Sometimes, a connection gets loose, especially if you have had any work done that required disconnecting the battery.........always check those connections......

I was getting just one click out of mine.. occassionally. It ended up being a loose connection on the + side of the battery. Like the other posts... check connections first.

thanks guys, ya i had checked the conections. batt is 5 years old and i dont use a tender so thinkin i'll replace it for peace of mind anyway and see if thats the prob.
Well start by cleaning the battery terminals at BOTH ends.
Sometimes the negative gets a little corrosion under the terminal
down on the frame.
Then charge and load test the battery. If weak change it out.
After above if still does it, could be the start relay or just time
to pull the starter, open it and clean and maybe even sand down the
brushes. If worn too far replace them.
