I got these because I Hated the Hard lowers but got tired of getting soaked and frozen in colder weather - Got these and really only used them once for Rain - Worked great - used them several times when its was COLD - also worked great. They will fit most any touring bike with Standard Harley engine guards - will NOT work with the Mustache type guards
Will work with Highway pegs.
Harley actually does not use this part number any longer - they have come up with a different type?? sells for $89
as stated in the first post - will fit with highway pegs - this design by HD does NOT have a zipper - just something to break overtime,,, if you look outboard of the straps, you will see an area that is a little different that the rest of the seam - this is where the pegs go through, nice neat area, manufactured to allow pegs, seamed and strong
Here is a 'selfie' of the lowers trying to show the spot where the highway pegs would go thru - This spot was manufactured for the highway pegs - seamed and strong - I never ran pegs and didn't even know it was there until it was pointed out to me, lol - It was asked if that area had a 'zipper'? I would think a zipper in the open like that would just be a problem - either brake or never work right? anyway, I am home alone and this was the fastest way to answer the question.
