I have it on my 06 even though I have a factory alarm. The 06 alarm has a push button fob so I have to arm it. Adding the Guard Dawg which is just a relay that replaces the one in the fuse holder, I now just get off my bike & walk away. I can leave it as can't be started once the Guard Dawg fob gets about 5-10 feet away. When I get back to it the relay senses the fob & deactivates the system.
It works as advertised & at this price is a bargain. I got mine on ebay a few years ago. I paid around 75 used.
