They sounded really great. I have tried J & M 7.25's and then these and the Focals were a lot clearer than the J & M's. I would stay with the Focals if it were not for the fact that I have a Hog Tunes tweeter pod that is already installed and color matched to the inner fairing. I have to leave it installed because of the holes and never really liked the fact that it was mounted and not wired up on my previous setups. Soooo.....I bought Rockford Fosgate separate component 6.5's (T1652s) and took the pod apart to install the tweeter portion of them into the pod and am happy with the result. Being components and considering the placement of the tweeters in the pod it sounds really good and the RF's will hold more power than the Focals, but if I did not already have the pod installed and color matched I would have stuck with the Focals as they are the best sounding 6.5 coaxial speaker I have heard in a batwing.
