Default Trike after laying down my ElectraGlide

Long story but I had to lay down my '00 EG and it got totaled. The wife enjoys riding as much as I do with her getting skittish about being on 2 wheels, we went with 3. Still trying to figure out all the goodies, ticked about not having a PT button for my intercom. But other than that, my old hip & knees appreciate it.

Here is "Renegade", being STYX nuts it fits

Hopefully before the summer is up, going to get the name painted on.

Welcome, many of us here on this forum understand exactly where you are coming from. Although I did not lay a bike down, had enough close calls with knee's not performing when needed, and most important a wife who would not ride with me anymore. Since 3 wheels we are like newlyweds again. Enjoying the ride, and time together. Love the Renegade on the trunk.

I feel many of us are on Trikes for one of 3 popular reasons. 1 - age/physical limitation, 2 - prior mishap/close call experience, 3 - spouse/significant other insists. In my case it is reason 3 but I'm okay with that because reason 3 may eliminate reasons 1 and 2. I'm not sure if it is out yet but someday there will likely be a sub category for 3 wheels when it comes to motorcycle accident statistics. I feel the 3 wheel statistic will look more favorable. We have more weight, more visibility and more stability going for us.

"ticked about not having a PT button for my intercom"

You do not need the PTT button for the intercom. May have to set the sensitivity to get it to where you want it. Everything is in the owners manual to set it up.

The more you ride your trike the more fun you are going to have. It truly gets better with each mile. Have fun and ride often.

Welcome to the forum. I'd wager that the more you ride Renegade, the better you'll like it.
