Default 2016 Freewheeler Highway Pegs

I have been exploring options of putting highway pegs on my Freewheeler. Was wondering if anyone else had done this and what they used. I've looked at engine guards. Wanting to know if there are any other options. Thanks.

I put Kuryakyn Flip Boards on my Freewheeler. Longer foot board with built in highway pegs that flip out. It is about 3/4" taller than regular floor boards.

Do you mean 3/4 inch higher from the ground? Do you know much further to the front they set you feet? Thanks.

Engine guard not only lets you mount footpegs, but also LED spots, fog lights, other things possibly in the future.

There's quite a bit of adjustment on the Kury foot boards, but since they are longer than stock you have to make sure you position them so the parking brake is useable. The boards are about 3/4" thicker so your feet are that much higher. I have a Ultimate seat that sits higher than stock so it works out ok for me. If you are tall, then the foot boards extra height may bother you.

Thanks. If I can put my feet further forward the extra height shouldn't be an issue with the stock ones my feet hang over the front edge an inch or so.

I put the mustache guards on my 2017 FW (seem to fit the lines of the bike better). Then used the foot pegs with the flip down heel rests, really like the set up and it all folds out of the way for a clean look when you want. Also, mount the pegs at a slight angle (swept back) versus straight out.. this does a great job on helping keep you feet from wanting to slide off the end of the pegs. Ron

I put the HD Mini-Floorboards on my wife's 2015 Tri Glide using the 360 Adjustable Highway Peg Mounts.

Hey Ron, I just picked up a Freewheeler Saturday, could you post a picture of your peg setup please?
