2016 tri glide Vance and Hines slip ons. Has anyone took out baffles to make a little louder. Don't have the money for headers now but need it a little loader thanks
Lots depends on which V&H you have. The monster Rounds work well with a lollypop in the place of the baffle.
Don't try to run without anything in the muffler cause you will loose too much torque on the bottom end, fuel millage etc, etc... You need some back pressure.
Loud pipes don't make good performance.
Have you tried removing the fiberglass off the baffles?

I recently bought FuelMoto Series E slipons. I am a bit surprised that they aren't more popular. You can add or subtract as many baffles as you wish(within reason), and , as far as I can tell, they are infinitely tuneable for sound and air flow.
V&H makes different size baffles to use.
I personally went Rush Big Luie's but they are a similar slip on to the V&H Monster Round's.
With the Rush Slip-on's I started with a 2". With just Slip-ons and OEM exhaust. It made a nice rumble but not obnoxious. I have since went to V&H Power Dual Headers, and it made the 2" baffle almost to the obnoxious level when I get on it. I should actually swap out the 2" to a smaller size, but I have a Dyno Tune with current setup and do not want to start over.
