There are better ways to introduce yourself.

Hint = Air Shocks.

Unless converted.

Relax guys.........he put a smile on my face! Under the right side (as your sitting on it) side cover you will find a Schrader valve (car tire spigot) to inject air into the shocks. One note of caution.............use a hand pump only! using a compressor will blow your shocks. I've asked questions here I wish I hadn't ......and got the business also. litz7051........keep posting.

Default Hmmmmm?

Well you don't really know when somebody makes a first post (or maybe not first) like this one, whether they are sincere or just trying to be cute or stir up something. However it shows they have a 2017
Tri Glide, so my question is.....Why do people not read the manuals that come with the bike? Maybe he bought it used and didn't get the manual....who knows!

And let's face it, standard dealer protocol is to ignore giving information like that whey you buy one.

The no-loss Harley air pump is definitely the way to go vs. a regular bicycle pump, even though it costs three times as much. The no-loss connector and built in pressure gauge make it nice to make fine adjustments, which you will need to do. But I still maintain that if you set your big air compressor outlet regulator to your desired pressure (obviously set to less than 50 psi) you can use it without hurting anything, but there aren't any no-loss chucks out there that I could find anyway, it was always hit-or-miss a few pounds.

I did indeed read the manual and only asked because a friend who owns the same bike told me they had gone to the same adjuster as on the Ultra Limited . And that is a dial. Never expected the responses I received on this site as the riders I deal with are more than happy to help a brother out . By the way I have just over 1000 miles on the trike so we are still getting used to each other .

Well there is the problem. Evidently your friend owns a 2017 Street Glide or some other 2 wheel HD that has the new suspension shocks and adjustment "WHEEL". Now, as far as I know none of the HD Trikes including the newer 17 and 18 models have that type shocks or adjustments. The Trikes have 2 Air Pressure adjustable shocks. The only way to adjust them is by adding or releasing the air pressure via the schrader valve as pictured in the manual. If your friend has a factory HD trike with the type adjustment he told you about I will apologize. I have never seen this type of adjustment for a trike discussed. Please post some pics of your friends 17 model year trike with the wheel adjustment.

Now that we have that straitened out, welcome to the forum.
