I agree but if it wasn't in writing they'll probably say it didn't happen. BTW the part number referenced in reply #5 is not correct for the new 2019 Boom Box GTS. It takes a different XM module than the the '14-'18 models. 76000842, $399.95 msrp but can be had cheaper from discount dealers. It is very simple to install yourself so your can save some $$ vs having the dealer install.
Once you get the module installed and the system recognizes it you will see an option for Sirius XM on the home screen - same as you see for FM, AM, etc. And contrary to what a couple dealers have told others the module DOES NOT require a flash by the dealer. The instructions clearly state that once you turn the Boom Box on after the install it may take a couple minutes for it to recognize and update the module all on its own.
I stand correct. I incorrectly assumed that the part number for the 2018 (my parts catalog) Tri-Glide would also work on the 2019 Tri-Glide.
Thanks, not willing to pay 400 for it, especially when most of the reviews are not that good. I downloaded about 9 hours worth of music onto a zip drive and keep that plugged in to the USB drive in the dash. Am very interested in the remote garage door opener since my baby is garage stored. Will be looking into that today.

Is there a special format you have to download the files to work on the Harley....

Certainly not trying to change your mind about the module but would like to offer my experience. Prior to my '18 TG I've ridden CVO Ultras / Limiteds since 2005. I've had five of them and they all came from the factory with the SiriusXM module installed. I've read the complaints about poor reception, putting the antenna on the dash, etc., but I can honestley say with the sole exception of my 2007 I've had no problem at all with reception on the SiriusXM module and that is with the antenna installed inside the outer fairing as per the factory (or in case of the TG instructions). My 2007 had some problems when riding in heavely wooded areas which seemed to block the signal from time to time. On all the other bikes this as happened a very few times and for very short duration. I've had XM (now Sirius XM) in my cars and bikes for many, many years and just won't ride without it. My wife and I enjoy it that much.

I just put everything in .mp3 files, I've only ever had one that the system wouldn't read. I stick with those because I know they work, and I even have software to convert other formats to .mp3.
I've got an adapter and an SD card with 1017 songs on it; that's about 60 hours of music! 60h times 50mph average is 3,000 miles riding time, or like 8 max riding days for us, so maybe you hear the same song every three or four days or so because of the random shuffle. And I need to update it, I think there's room for another 5-600.
Edit: Yeah, .mp3s may not be the ultimate in audiophile quality, but hey, wind noise makes that irrelevant. I could probably compress them further and get many more on it and never notice.

Reason: mo stuf
I have both. I used to have a DJ business and have about 1600 cds stored on a computer for just music so I have flash drives with 3500 songs on them that i keep plugged into the USB. Recently I bought a sirius radio module from a buddy that went from a 17 Tri to a 19 Tri. once you plug it into the bike and get the sirius contract the bike will recognize the unit. The only complaint I have with Sirius is I hooked it up and pay money to listen to music not a DJ, yea it's commercial free but I get a little tired of listening to a DJ yammer on.
XM is NOT STANDARD on any Tri-glide. Your system is CAPABLE of handling XM but only after you purchase module and pay XM for the Yearly/monthly service. I added to my 2018 and love it. Had it on two bikes before but of course this Rushmore is different from my earlier bikes and I had it installed when new.
